Hello Marshall Friends-
JT from Terra BIRDS checking in.  Hoping that one or two Marshall teachers may be able and interested in joining this summer PD opportunity (see flier linked below-$$$ stipend for you!) with the Coconino County Education Service Agency.  I write also to share that we would very much like to bring one or two of these Lettuce Grow Farmstands to the Marshall community.  If we set them up in the Lab, then other classes can enjoy as well.  Or they can be set up in classrooms.  They do not take up lots of space, are aesthetically pleasing, produce lots of food, and are completely self contained.
I am sending this out to those teachers that I know and have worked with; but this opportunity is available to any classes.  The target age groups for the County program are K-3.
If you are interested in bringing your class to the Lab or work with us in your classroom to set up a Farmstand, please just reply.  Pending how many responses, we'll figure out a plan.  Mondays before Magnet Monday would be ideal for Terra BIRDS to set these up; but Tuesdays or Wednesday mornings could also be workable options.
See below application link for the PD.
Many thanks and we look forward to growing season with you all!
Best from JT

What a spring kickoff! Last week of March

We welcomed spring with a series of storms.  I know we have all been dealing with much...safe commutes, soggy students, indoor/outdoor recess, late busses, absences, illnesses, and so much more.  I applaud your continued perseverance.  Just like the flowers through the snow in the photo above, you continue to rise above.  It matters to each and every student, parent, future teacher, and colleague you come in contact with.  There are sunnier days ahead.  There must be! #Together, we rise!

Welcome back to Marshall, Jen Netzky!
See her message below and stop in to say hello!
Hi Marshall team!!!  My name is Jen Netzky, I am so excited to be at Marshall this quarter as a school psychology practicum student working with Reid Swan.  I have been working towards my PsyD in School Psychology and am in practicum this year in FUSD and I will also be completing my internship in FUSD all of next year.  My other job is as an Exceptional Student Services Therapist - I have been in the district for 15 years and I have worked all over the place, including Marshall years ago.  It's so fun to be back with so many kind and familiar faces and in the Marshall community.  I will be in the building on Mondays, Tuesdays and some Wednesdays - see you around! jnetzky@fusd1.org
    Warmly,

    Hardware/Software/Network

    iOS Update 16.3.1

The most recent iOS update is available on iPads (staff and students). Remember that updates help ensure best functionality for devices, including app performance. This update addresses multiple issues with iOS 16.3, including an issue with iCloud backups/syncing. This upgrade would need to be done by the end of day, March 29th (see the next item for more detail)

iOS Upgrade Pause Starting Thursday, March 30th

To go along with the above item, as we do every year, we will be pausing the ability to upgrade iPads on March 30th to ensure a stable platform for the various assessments happening in the district. We will allow iPads to resume updating in early May.
