Hello May!

How is it possible that this is the final month of our school year?  We have accomplished so much!  BUT, we are not done yet.  Thank you for continuing to keep student engagement at an all time high during this final push.  We know that when students are highly engaged, they are on task and well managed.  Please also continue to keep an eye on all while at recess.  Supervision continues to be very important as we finish this year strong!

You’re invited to the 2023 Community STEM Celebration! It will count as 1/2 snow day make up.

A message from Cindy Noble:
I am just reaching out to encourage you to have teachers sign up for Targeting EL Students with Integrated Instructional Support, the course being offered as a snow day opportunity. We are offering this course on Wednesday, June 14th and Friday, June 16th. This course is in response to our monitoring finding regarding Integrated Instruction in the gen ed classroom. It will go over requirements, lesson plan notations, and instructional strategies for ELs. We would really like to get teachers from the sites that will be monitored in the Fall to attend, but any teacher that will be working with ELs is welcome!! Cindy Noble

TEI plan 2022/23 for certified teachers

Certified Evaluations

I am completing all evaluations by early May and you will start seeing that you will need to go in and acknowledge them. I was able to get with tech services to determine what to do for the 2nd observation waiver. On Monday, I will be sending an invite to a second observation. Once I do this, it will populate the waiver option for staff that have wanted and qualify for one observation to complete. You will then complete the waiver and I will mark the element complete once received. FOR ALL CERTIFIED STAFF keep a lookout for the finalization information so you can complete all the necessary steps of verification on your end. Reach out if you have any questions or something that you would like to discuss further. Also, you must complete the Domain 5 self reflection form by May 1st. I will then schedule the summative Evaluation meetings (15-20 min) for the final weeks.
