4th quarter dates and deadlines
Friday, May 24
- Specials teachers have until 12 submit their grades.
- Front office staff will do the initial attendance rollover by noon.
- Teachers may print standards reports after specials grades are entered
and the rollover has occurred. These are the reports that will go home
on the last day of school so the comments should contain the following memo...
“Days of attendance are accurate as of May 24, 2019. Actual days membership through May 30,
2019 will be entered in your student's personal file.”
Thursday, May 30th
- Last Day of School!
- A final attendance rollover should occur by 12:00 noon.
- After the final rollover
happens, schools can start putting standards reports in student
permanent files. Principals got a message about this from Mrs. Walton.
Thank
you all for your
support with Grade Book this year. Marshall continues to be one of the
best when it comes to grades and standards reports! Thank you Heather
Overton for taking the district lead on this! If you have any questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out to her.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST ON MAY 24TH AT 8AM Heather Overton writes: 1. There will be
invitations in the workroom. Please
only take what you need and give them to the volunteers who have helped
you this year.
2.
Please sign up to bring something to the breakfast. You may ask
businesses for donations or bring something that you have made or
purchased. The Mix, Fratelli's, Kickstand, and Satchmo's
all donated during Teacher Appreciation Week, so we may not want to ask
them again unless you have a special connection.
3.
Please let Mrs. Overton know an approximate count from your class by Wednesday,
May 22nd; so she can send out an email to let all of you know how many
people we are expecting (her guess is about 40).
4.
If you have volunteers attending the breakfast, please join us on
Friday morning to help thank them for their time and dedication to
Marshall.

We will have AzMERIT for two more years. HOWEVER, it will not be call the AzMERIT. It gets a new name. Why? NO IDEA. But if you feel so inclined, you can be the one to name it. I was thinking Arizona's Standards Summation. What do you think? Get it? AzMERIT results will come in June (3rd grade middle of May). They will be shipped to school sites. FUSD is not mailing them home. I have a few ideas of how we can get them to families over the summer and then at our back to school BBQ!
Special Area Schedule sign up 5/28 & 5/29 As we discussed in our Finish Strong
staff meeting, the special area teachers have created a sign up sheet
for the final week so we can all have specials if we so choose #equity.
Please access the google sign up sheet HERE.
As always, you must be logged into your FUSD account to be able to
edit. Please contact Mrs. Burgoon or Mr. McAllister if you are having
trouble with the form. They will gladly assist.
May 17th PD
Our
final PD is just around the corner. We have much to cover in only two
hours. We will take time to reflect on our professional learning plan
for 2018/19 and plan for 2019/20. We will also have time to really dive
into our school-wide data. Prior to the meeting, you can expect a
google form to collect much of your input.
