The
last ELA implementation meetings are fast approaching. Now that we have had a
year of exploring Reach for Reading/ReadyGEN it is time to finalize the
curriculum guides for implementation for the 2019-2010 school year.Monday, May 6-Reach for Reading-refine/modify curriculum guide. Bring any pertinent materials that you have used this year that will help in finalizing the guides. Keep in mind the assessments and modifications that you have made.

AzMERIT update:We will have AzMERIT for two more years. HOWEVER, it will not be call the AzMERIT. It gets a new name. Why? NO IDEA. But if you feel so inclined, you can be the one to name it. I was thinking Arizona's Standards Summation. What do you think? Get it? AzMERIT results will come in June (3rd grade middle of May). They will be shipped to school sites. FUSD is not mailing them home. I have a few ideas of how we can get them to
families over the summer and then at our back to school BBQ!

As we discussed in our Finish Strong staff meeting, the special area teachers have created a sign up sheet for the final week so we can all have specials if we so choose #equity. Please access the google sign up sheet HERE. As always, you must be logged into your FUSD account to be able to edit. Please contact Mrs. Burgoon or Mr. McAllister if you are having trouble with the form. They will gladly assist.

May 17th PD
Our
final PD is just around the corner. We have much to cover in only two
hours. We will take time to reflect on our professional learning plan
for 2018/19 and plan for 2019/20. We will also have time to really dive
into our school-wide data. Prior to the meeting, you can expect a
google form to collect much of your input.

AdvancED Update:~Your Marshall Leadership Team is still working hard to complete the School Quality Factor Diagnostic due this week.
~Eleot observations will continue this month. We hope to pop into your room so you can become familiar the process.
