Keep calm and finish strong!

We know that we have seen an uptick in student behaviors this week.

It is very clear that for so many, they are experiencing anxiety about the end of the school year.  They just got here.  The last time we sent them home, we couldn't let them come back for a long, long time.  Please be mindful of the behaviors you are seeing. Please reach out to me or Mrs. C. if you would like some assistance with a student who is struggling.  They show it in so many ways, I don't have to tell you about it.  I just want you to know we are here to support you in supporting them.  You are incredibly important to them.  They don't want school to be over.  They are not counting down to summer.  It is a very different kind of year ending.  We will all continue to give them our all.  They deserve the best of us, even when we know we are spent.  Thank you for giving them all you got.  It is NOT easy! You are doing an aMAYzing job!

Teacher Supply Request List for 2021/22 <----Click

Please get together with your grade level peers to fill out this form for supply list request for the 2021/22 school year.  Please remember, the ambitious goal is to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need to run your classroom without having to ask parents for supplies.   However, be mindful that funding is tighter than ever and we may not be able to depend on PTO as before.  As always, we will continue to make sure you have what you need without spending your own money.

Important Survey for all FUSD employee's:  Check your email from Flagstaff USD sent to you on Thursday, May 13. re: invitation to participate in our district-wide employee engagement survey for Flagstaff Unified School District. DUE May 27 Invitation is link specific so I cannot link it here. Your feedback is valued! Your school improvement committee analyzes all stakeholder feedback.  Talk to us!

Please help us all see what is happening behind the scenes!

Thank you, Ms. Woody for popping into the 2nd grade classrooms when you heard we were struggling to get logged on to our district assessments. You made it go much more smoothly! ~Heather Overton

Thank you Janelle, Erin, Hanno and all the others cheering them on! The girls and the coaches appreciated it SO much! ~Alianah Mijares

MAY MOMENTS!

Keep moving forward!

There are three more weeks to make a difference!  Thank you for all you continue to do for Marshall students. I know how long this year has been for us all.  We've come so so far!  I know we will make it across this finish line. Please take a moment to reflect on how much we missed the end of the year with our students last year.  We have moved mountains to connect with them. You should be so proud! Enjoy these last 3 weeks with them!  This is also the time when emails from all departments are coming at us!  I will do my best to keep you organized on this blog.  There is much to keep up with!

It’s Open Enrollment Time!

Email with details sent to you on Friday, 5/14 from Jennifer Moore. Open Enrollment for the 2021/2022 school year is Monday, May 17, 2021 through Friday, June 4, 2021. This is the time to make changes to any of your benefit plans, effective for the July 1, 2021 year. All changes MUST be made at the online enrollment website www.napebtbenefits.com.

Apple TVs

Good news.  Supported by 2018 Bond funding, the installation of Apple TVs in FUSD schools will start in Summer 2021.  An Apple TV is a wireless device that is connected to the classroom projector and enables teachers and students to wirelessly stream images, videos, etc. from their mobile devices (iPad, laptop).  No projector cable needed!  We have our Apple Classroom PD this Friday (in person in the library)!  I will send reminder on Wed.)

Important Survey for all FUSD employee's:  Check your email from Flagstaff USD sent to you on Thursday, May 13. re: invitation to participate in our district-wide employee engagement survey for Flagstaff Unified School District.
