Don't forget...Healthy Snacks
From Steve Rhode, Admin Assistant of Operations

Part of the Student Wellness policy that is filed with ADE under the Nutrition Standards is that food or beverages should not be used as a reward, classroom snacks must meet AZ/USDA Nutrition Standards, and classroom celebrations should be healthy and not sweets.  Here is a link to the student wellness policy that is located on the FUSD website.  This is just a message reminder and not a focus on any school or classroom.

What our families are saying..
"Attitude of gratitude"
You are so appreciated!
(Final Edition)

Michelle RhodesMs Bianco!!!!! And the rest of the K-town team. Junie has blossomed so much. Last year she cried when she had pre-school and this year she cries when she has a day off. She feels so comfortable around Ms Bianco-more so than any other adult I’ve seen. Things that were a struggle like letters and sounds, she’s loving now. Watching her thrive is such a gift. We are so grateful that we made the last minute decision to send her to Marshall!!! Thank you so much! Michelle and Chip (Juniper’s mom)
Michelle MatthiesWe have been part of the Marshall Family since 2015 when our oldest started there. I don't say "Family" lightly. The care, dedication, quality instruction, and opportunities that Marshall provides is unmatched. We are incredibly grateful!
Ashley martinThe people are nice and good and help our kids
Gustavo Rodriguez JrWe are grateful that they give my children an education and take care of them as if they were their parents.
An awesome PTO that organized the "Room on the Broom" family movie night! It was so much fun, and we had a blast!
We're thankful for Emily Fisher, who really understands the challenges for kids during their tween years and has a great sense of humor about their sometimes frustrating tendencies.
We're thankful that Marshall organizes amazing field trips and cultural experiences for our child!
We're thankful for such a thoughtful, compassionate and enthusiastic principal! She takes the time to get to know each student, chooses appropriate and fair consequences and has fun every day. The other day she was our crossing guard and made us smile!
Schiefer familyOur family is thankful for Jenn Carrozzino, the school counselor, who skillfully and caringly helps students with important emotional needs to be happy and successful.
Schiefer familyOur family is thankful for Nurse Liz, who masterfully and compassionately keeps kids healthy inside and out.
Lauren Fofanova and Alex FofanovWe are thankful for the dedication and kindness of the Marshall teachers and staff. Thank you for your smiles welcoming us each morning. You do an amazing g job teaching our kids. We are thankful for Mr. Billy.

To Ms. Thompson from Alex: Thank you for helping me learn. I like being in your class.
The Dunlevy’sWe’ve never loved a school more than Marshall. The word nurturing best sums up what you do. It starts every day with Mr. Billy at the crosswalk and the principal greeting kids at the front door. Inside teachers are constantly providing fun ways to learn, and they do an exceptional job meeting our boys right where they’re at so they can keep stretching. Every day ends with smiling, happy kids walking out at dismissal. Clearly so much good is going on at Marshall, leaving us with hearts *full* of gratitude. You all are amazing people!!
Ms. OggI have been truly amazed with Ms. Ogg and our entire family would like to tell her how grateful we are to her! Her kindness, compassion and patience are amazing. She has helped Evelyn gain confidence and now she loves going to school and learning. Our daughter has a chronic illness (severe asthma) and Ms. Ogg is always checking up on her and helping her to catch up. I truly know she cares about my daughter and that means the world to me. She's even helped me do better at home to support Evelyn. Ms. Ogg, you are amazing! Thanks for everything you do.
Natalie JacobsI'd like to express my gratitude for Ms. Stamer. She is an absolute rockstar! We're so grateful that she is at Marshall and has grown the choir program from being nonexistent to over 50 students! We love her energy and everything she has done for the kiddos and music education at Marshall. Thank you Ms. Stamer!!!
