Spotlight: Meet Alianah Mijares, 4th grade
Hey y’all! My name is Alianah Mijares and I am the new 4th grade teacher! I am so excited to be at Marshall for my first year of teaching ever! I am originally from Peoria, Arizona and moved to Flagstaff to attend NAU! I have fallen in love with this beautiful mountain town and hope to make it home for a long time! While in college I taught three years of an introduction to college class to incoming freshmen. I also have a few years of experience working with preschool kiddos! Outside of teaching I like baking, crafting and being outside! I am currently training for a 5K at the end of September. I like to shoot archery and go country dancing. I have the sweetest golden retriever mix puppy dog named Nestle! It’s been a great start to the year in 4th grade, I can’t wait to start diving into all things Marshall in these next few weeks with committees, Magnet Monday’s, and so much more! I’m in room 26 please come say hi anytime!
