Rebecca Reichel RTI Instructional Aid

Hello,

My name is Rebecca Reichel. I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and did my student teaching at Marshall, so I am super happy to be back! I have lived in Flagstaff for the past 5 years and am so happy my community is expanding by joining the Marshall fam! I enjoy spending my time off with my 7-month-old daughter and husband, and doing anything that gets me out of the house. I love camping, hiking, and just relaxing whenever and however I can. Some fun things about me are that I used to compete in Trampoline and Tumbling, I’ve traveled through Europe, and I love trying all kinds of new foods.  Thank you for such a warm welcome, I’m so excited to start meeting and working with everyone!

Mya Hetrick
RTI Instructional Aid

My name is Mya (Mrs. Hetrick 😊 ), and I am so grateful to have been accepted into the Marshall family!  I am a Wisconsin native but spent 15 years in Phoenix, and recently my husband, two children and I moved to beautiful Flagstaff to slow the pace of our life down, and to enjoy the seasons and wonderful community that Flagstaff is known for.  I keep busy with my grade-school-aged daughter and son, who both attend Knoles Elementary.  My husband and I enjoy attending their sporting events, but when we're not running to basketball or snowboarding lessons, we love hiking with our Cockapoo (Savanna), family movie nights, road trips, and exploring the city (including trying all of the wonderful restaurants!).  I am a homebody, so my love for design has been put to good use as we're in the process of renovating our home.  Some of my other favorite things include thrifting, sushi, connecting with friends, morning tea, and browsing bookstores.😊   Traveling to Norway is at the top of my bucket list, where much of my family still lives.  Fun fact: I have jumped out of a plane, but I'm too scared to ride on a chairlift at Snowbowl.  Go figure!
A very big THANK YOU for welcoming me! I am looking forward to working with all of the students at Marshall, as well as meeting you all in person! ~Mya
