Kicking off AzM2 and another week to make a difference!

I sure do appreciate all the positivity that our  staff members have expressed during concurrent teaching these past 3 weeks.  I do hope you have settled into a routine that works for you and your students. It's always uplifting to me to be reminded of how passionate y'all are about improving your professional practice and how dedicated you are to the success and well-being of every student at Marshall.  I admire your continued and consistent efforts.  We are all instrumental in making the most of the 37 days (29 full days and 8 half days) we have left with our students this year.  Each day counts.  Each interaction matters!

 Testing Dates

            April 12th 3rd, 4th and 5th grade writing

April 20th 3rd ,4th and 5th grade ELA parts 1 & 2

April 21st 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Math parts 1 & 2

April 22nd 5th grade AIMS Science parts 1 & 2 

                        Testing Times

All tests should begin no later than 9:00am each morning and cannot go past the school day.  Please be mindful in the halls by the Science Lab and the Library as we will be testing there.             Lunch Changes

Writing test, April 12-  3rd grade will trade with 1st.  (1st 11:10   3rd 11:35) Fourth and Fifth grade will stay the same.

ELA and Math, April 20th & 21st-

3rd grade will trade with 1st.  (1st 11:10    3rd 11:35) 4th will stay the same  2nd and 5th will trade (2nd 12:50     5th 12:00)

Science, April 22nd: 5th grade only and lunches will stay the same

RTI Changes

April 12th   No RTI April 13th, 14th and 15th     ~RTI for 1st-2nd for all               ~RTI for 3rd-5th for all except for Kasch’s & Hanno’s group April 19th-April 22nd No RTI April 26th-April 29th Cancelled for first grade, Kasch’s & Hanno’s 3rd-5th grade May 3rd-13th RTI for all!

ADOT UPDATES

Friday, April 9, through Sunday, April 18:

• Historic Route 66/State Route 40B will be open to normal traffic operation with the exception of intermittent westbound right-lane closures.  AWESOME!!

The following traffic shift will occur from Monday, April 19, through Sunday, May 9:

• The east- and westbound travel lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted to the south side of the roadway.
• The eastbound left-turn lane to northbound US 180 and eastbound and westbound access to Sitgreaves/Santa Fe will be closed. Use signed detour routes for US 180 access.

The following traffic shift will occur from Monday, May 10, through Sunday, May 23:
