Planning for 2021/2022

FUSD recognizes that we need to post positions for the 2022/23 school year much earlier than April if we are to attract top candidates and compete with the Phoenix area districts.  I will meet with Mr. Penca and Mrs. Anderson the very first week back from winter break.  I will need to gather your intentions for next year prior to break in order to prepare for our staffing meeting.  Your answers remain confidential. Thank you for your attention. All staff, please fill out this brief google form to assist in planning for next school year.

Congratulations Tiffany Ogg!!!  On behalf of APS and Phoenix Suns Charities, her funding request for Raising Turkeys was approved in the amount of $1250.00!!!

Spotlight on Lynda Ging

This is my first year working at Marshall Elementary in Reading Intervention. I worked at Thomas Elementary as a Reading Interventionist two years ago. I attended Moorpark College in California where I studied Early Childhood Ed. and Art. After getting my Preschool Teacher certification and degree I worked in a preschool.

In my free time I draw and paint with watercolors. There is so much to inspire my artwork in Flagstaff: the mountains, Lake Mary, wildflowers, and trees. I have 3 dogs and a cat. My two goats are named Tom and Jerry. Along with my grown children and six grandchildren they keep me very busy. I love to see all the smiles on students faces at Marshall Magnet School and look forward to being here each day.

Tech support checklist!  Speaking of tech...Friday was the deadline for Digital Citizenship Teacher Verification.
