TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!
GREAT TEES! Our 4th grade team was rocking the pride they have for their role at Marshall. We all have so much to be proud of! Don't be afraid to show it. Well done!Spotlight: Meet Jolynne Voorhees, Resource Teacher K-3
Ms. Jolynne Voorhees [Ms. V. ] is so glad to be working with the K-3 team. She is grateful for all of the teachers who have welcomed her into their classroom as a Co-teacher. Although she is here to provide direct service minutes to students who have IEPs when she is in the classroom, she adopts all students as shared students. She hopes to collaborate in the classroom by co-teaching, facilitating rotations and working with all academic levels of students. There are many strategies that she has had the pleasure of learning from previous colleagues and she would love to share Levels of Understanding, Basic Sign Language for Academics, Non-Violent Communication, Setting High Expectations and Universal Design for Learning. She is also here for support in positive behavior support to all grade levels. Ms. V. also hopes to learn from all of her cooperating teachers and gain new strategies and deeper of understanding of elementary pedagogy and academics. Please feel free to stop by her room, e-mail or call her to brainstorm how to best meet the needs of ALL of our students :)
FUSD recently purchased teacher accounts for Nearpod! FUSD teachers have access to 6,000 + lessons for free in all subject areas, the ability to take students on virtual field trips and simulations, as well as the ability to create interactive lessons and MORE!

Building Classroom Community
I have loved witnessing the work you are doing with your students as you build your classroom communities. You all have wonderful student-centered ideas. This new idea was especially cool when it literally all came together. Wonderful project, Mrs. Grimmett! Want to learn more about it? Just ask her.
Support your child information guides for parents.
