Attitude of Gratitude!
The students who show up every week to my Art class! They are amazing and keep me inspired to carry on.
As always, number one - my son! One of the silver linings in this time has been time I have been given with him that I would never have had in a normal year. I am grateful that even though this is my silver lining, I know that it comes at a cost to him socially and emotionally yet he remains the kind hearted and positive child he naturally has always been. He is my biggest blessing. I am grateful for parents who continue to help me anyway they can. I am grateful for my work besties who are getting me through the hardest year teaching ever.
My family, my friends, my dog, my home, my colleagues, my students, the health of my family and friends, and the support I get from those around me!
ALL of my co-teachers who have opened their classroom to Me, Mrs. Skinner and Ms. Summer. Thank you for working Tirelessly and being Flexible with and for ALL of our students! You are appreciated and absolutely amazing.
working with such supportive coworkers! If I'm having a rough day I like popping into Zoom classes. It always cheers me up and motivates me to look at my challenges with a new lens.
support from my Marshall peeps when I need it.
Being able to spend more time with my sister. She said she is grateful for bananas.
my family, furrbabies, home, and overall well-being despite the current circumstances!
I am grateful for my health, for the 23 smiling faces that greet me over zoom every morning and for french fries! I am also very grateful for my friends and family, my puppy dogs and my Marshall family. Last and certainly not least I am grateful for God's grace and mercy everyday!
my husband who is always by myside, plus time spent with my family, and enjoy having a friends you check on me and my pets. I grateful to be a teacher at Marshall.
My family, friends, and my health.
Being able to have hot coffee during the work day. That and my awesome support system at home.
I am grateful for my health, for the 23 smiling faces that greet me over zoom every morning and for french fries! I am also very grateful for my friends and family, my puppy dogs and my Marshall family. Last and certainly not least I am grateful for God's grace and mercy everyday!

Restorative Practices
THE 5 R’S
(please digest 1 a week)

RESPECT
RESPONSIBILITY
REPAIR
RELATIONSHIP
REINTEGRATION
4. REPAIR:
Once one takes responsibility for his or her actions, one can focus on how to repair the harm that was done. Wrongdoing and conflict are tears in the social fabric and restorative justice includes restoring the health and healing of individuals and communities through a reasonable plan to repair the harm to the fullest extent possible, even when one did not intend to cause harm. By repairing the harm, one begins to re-establish his or her self-respect in the eyes of the community.

Marshall school walk-though on Wed. 11/18
We did it! Marshall passed our all school inspection. Thank you for the work you each put into preparing your room. The official report is forthcoming. The adjustments we must make are minor and very few. This would not have been possible without the hard work of our COVID Mitigation Prep Squad (Macdonald, Janeway, Walmer , Nish & Reasor). What a workout!
I can't get enough of Priah! This is the cutest video. She is worth the minutes. The message is worth the consideration. Let's all help put the UNITTY in commUNITY!
Thursday, November 19 through Friday, December 4
Please consider contributing to this year’s campaign to aid our students, families, colleagues, and community members who benefit from the many programs and services supported by United Way. Last year, the FUSD campaign raised over $9,000 for the United Way of Northern Arizona to invest in programs such as KinderCamp, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, LAUNCH Flagstaff, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), and crisis response and recovery. Now more than ever, individuals in our community find themselves in need because of the impact of COVID-19.
LIVING UNITED~We are each a small part of the difference.
Meal Train
Our brave Ms. Fisher will be undergoing medical procedures next week. Mark, Lucy, and Sam will no doubt be a huge help in her recovery process through the end of 2020. Marshall can also help with meals for this awesome family of four. Please consider signing up to provide them with a meal in the upcoming weeks.
