Hello October! Wow, that was fast.

Last year we were fortunate to have Shannon Wills from Coconino County ESA come in to support our staff.  This year, she is still willing and able to support us, but will not have "office hours" here at Marshall.   She is amazong! If you are interested in support, please reach out to Shannon at:

Email: swills@coconino.az.gov
Google Voice (call/text): (928) 613-2109

Mall Points

Marshall will be participating in the Flagstaff Mall Elevate My School program to earn points towards a monetary award for our school (not MCSO). Please bring ORIGINAL receipts to the Marshall office for ANY purchase made at the Flagstaff Mall September 29th through December 31st. Receipts must be turned into Marshall within 30 days of purchase.

Thank you for supporting our Flagstaff Mall and Marshall!  Please help us (Angela, Erin, Christina, and me) spread the word!

Mustang Gallop was a HUGE success!  Check out all the photos HERE.  Have some of your own? Please add them to our drive.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Conferences are around the corner. Please remember to provide us with your conference schedule at the front office so we are ready for our families.  Thank you.

Once again, I will be reporting your conference percentages to Mr. Penca using this form.  It is always preferred to have in-person conferences but teams or zoom can be another option. With your zoom account now being the free one, the meeting will only last for thirty minutes so teams is preferred for video conferencing. As a last resort, phone calls will also count but please try all other options first. You guys always rock these important opportunities to partner with our families!

Donuts and the CCESA!

From Alianah Ramirez:

Our first Family STEAM night will be here before we know it! Thursday, October 26th! For the first family night we will be doing the M in STEAM; Math!
Marshall CSO is hoping to have as many teacher teams as possible to plan and run a fall themed math activity for families and students from all grades to participate in. Similar to the winter craft night last year, all activities will be in the cafeteria.
Please begin planning with your teacher teams (doesn't have to be just your grade level team)! Here is the document to sign up with your activity and any materials that are needed. There is also money for any learning materials pertaining to your activity to be purchased and sent home with families if you wish. The sooner you fill this column out the better for purchasing items in time.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be sending out a flyer to share with families early next week.

SHOUT-OUTS

Let's make time to acknowledge our amazing teammates!

Thanks to Tr. Jackie and Mrs. Krause for helping out while I had to take off early for an appointment last week! I appreciate you both so much! ~ Fisher

A big thank you to Mrs. Stamer and her husband for letting use your old cell phone. It has been such a help! ~ Nurse Liz

Shout out to all who stepped up to bring back the Mustang Gallop. It was wonderful having so many parents at our school!

New employee handbook via our Frontline System was sent to all employees. You have until October 20, 2023, to review the information and sign-off on reviewing it.
This handbook has a new look and feel to it and includes updated policy language now found in our new policy manual with the Trust.  For some of us, the old one was uploaded in Frontline. They are working on this.  If you need to access it, I have included it in The Mustang Hub 2.0 and HERE for your convenience.
